A Fresh Perspective on the Farmstead 📸

Our dear friend Michael Raines is a supremely talented photographer, and I was lucky enough to book him for a shoot at the Farmstead on a lovely early fall day — the perfect opportunity to capture the chaos and the beauty of harvest around here.

The grapes, heavy and perfectly-lit, were the undeniable stars of the show. But not to be outshone were the plump raspberries and dusky plums, each one a small reminder of how generous this land can be.

Watching Michael’s take on the vines, the light, and me in my element, a sight rarely captured… I was struck by how much life has rooted itself here. This place just keeps on offering — season after season, gift after gift.
