From Farm to Table: The Bar West Connection

It was a busy summer at the restaurant as well, as our long and stressful chef search finally came to a satisfying conclusion with the hiring of our new Executive Chef, Nate Chart. Shortly after, we had another win with the addition of our Sous Chef, Jacob Neustadt. These talented men joined forces with our Beverage Director, Andria Davies, forming a stellar leadership team. They quickly found their rhythm together and began planning for a future rich in local, seasonal ingredients — a vision that truly comes to life when connected with the Farmstead.

On a gorgeous October day, we made our way out to the Farmstead to start envisioning how the farm’s bounty could tie directly into the food and drink at Bar West. It was inspiring to imagine the two worlds — restaurant and farm — working together, and we left buzzing with ideas for the season ahead.
