Winter routine
And just like that… it’s winter again. While we’re grateful that our project list looks very different this year and that there were no pipe bursts this time around, there’s still plenty keeping us busy this winter.
I demoed the duck coop, removed more cattle fencing (sure hoping we don’t come to regret this later), and cleared out the old garden to prep for future planting, and tackled the never-ending challenge of managing water flow…. Who knew that would end up being such a huge part of caring for this land? Not us, apparently! :)
As February inches to a close, I am comforted by the familiar sight of blooms.
