Since we launched, open weekends have been few and far between — which is, of course, amazing — but it also comes with its own challenges. With only Sunday to tackle our long to-do lists, the day starts almost as soon as our guests check out at 11 a.m. Often, we find ourselves waiting at the top of the driveway, watching the clock, just waiting for the clock to tick before we pass through the gates. Then it’s a whirlwind: racing against daylight to complete as much as we can, all while making sure the girls are entertained, fed, and happy.

Amid the chaos, I’m doing my best to capture it all in photos — snapshots of the messy, beautiful, exhausting, and joyful moments. Someday, we’ll forget how hectic it all felt, how tight the timelines were, and even the stress will fade. What will remain are these tiny fragments of memory: laughter echoing through the rooms, muddy hands on freshly cleaned floors, and the fleeting magic of a day spent building something together.
