We worked our butts off from pre-dawn until post-bedtime to get things ready for our first Airbnb guests, but we also couldn’t wait to share this place with our friends. They were dying to see what had kept us away from every social gathering for nearly an entire year...
Many of our longtime friends are used to our pattern by now: we get a big idea, dive in headfirst, and don’t come up for air until it’s done. But even for them, seeing this place in real life was something different. Watching their faces light up as they walked through the gate, took in the views, and understood what we’d been dreaming up all along — that was pure magic.
And for us, seeing them fall in love with it made every long night, every muddy boot, every “what were we thinking?” moment completely worth it.
