Calendars cleared, bags packed, menu planned?
You’re almost ready for your stay at Deep Creek Farmstead!

Seven Special Acres

Refer to these maps of the property to get a sense of the three properties on our peninsula; where Deep Creek runs into the Clackamas River.

Since there are no fences marking boundaries, keep a close eye on dogs and reference these maps to avoid crossing onto our neighbor’s land.

Thank you for helping us be respectful, and we hope you enjoy your stay!

1 - there is a young family in a one-story white house that is visible from some areas on our land. There is no fence between our properties where they meet, so stick to the trails and do not cross the cattle gate to remain on our side.

2 - there is one other house on the hill across the creek. You won't see them unless you are at the Overlook point or down on the Creek, and the only access to their property would be to cross the water.

3 - The land along the ridge is owned by Metro Parks, who manage 17,000 acres across the Portland metropolitan region and work to protect natural areas, improve water quality, and restore wildlife habitat. This land is currently under rehab and is uninhabited, but sometimes workers will be there during the day. You cannot see or hear them from anywhere on our property.

House Rules

Arrival & Directions
The address and arrival details are available in the Airbnb app and map is provided at the above link. Please be mindful that the gravel driveway is shared with two other homes. If using rideshare services, ask your driver to use Apple Maps or Google Maps for the most accurate directions.

Firewood
We provide a large bundle of firewood for the fireplace. If you plan to keep a fire going for an extended time, you may want to bring an additional bundle.

Hot Tub
Please rinse off before using the hot tub to help keep the water clean for everyone.
Please top off the tub with water from the hose near the back door if the level drops below the jets to avoid burning out the motor. (do not overfill)

Water
We are on a well, and the water is great straight from the tap. A Berkey water filter is also available if you prefer filtered water.

Check-In / Check-Out
Because of the time required to fully prepare the home and property for incoming guests, we’re not able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Exploring the Property
Hiking and exploring the property is encouraged! Please refer to the map in the house book and the listing for property boundaries. Keep an eye on children and dogs while exploring. If you bring a dog, please pick up after them and keep pets off the furniture.

Fire Safety
Please do not leave fires unattended. Be mindful of flying embers and always fully extinguish fires with water when you’re finished.

We hope you have a magical time at the Farmstead. Feel free to reach out anytime if you have questions during your stay.
