A Final Thank You to Summer

As the days started to shorten and the hint of fall crept in, we decided to squeeze in one last summer celebration — a big, joyful party with our dear friends and all our nature-loving kids. There’s nothing quite like watching a dozen little ones run wild while the grown-ups chat, laugh, and soak up the golden light of a late summer afternoon.

We fired up the Gozney, shared plenty of delicious food and drinks, and celebrated the season together. Between an impromptu soccer game, creek-dips, and the inevitable mud-streaked bare feet, it was a day full of laughter, memories, and the kind of chaos that only comes from a gathering with kids.

As we watched the sun dip below the horizon, it felt like the perfect send-off for summer — a reminder that this place, and the people we share it with, make all we do so damn worth it.
