welcome to

Deep Creek Farmstead

seven sprawling acres, countless adventures

Land Acknowledgment

Deep Creek Farmstead is on the land of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla people, among countless other native tribes who were removed from their homelands with the signing of Cession 352: the Treaty with the Kalapuya and confederated bands of the Willamette Valley.

We acknowledge the earliest people of this land as a show of respect, and as the current stewards of this rich and beautiful property, we aim to honor Indigenous people’s history and culture. We aim to recognize our land’s origins as a small step toward reconciliation and repair, and pledge to make ongoing efforts to recognize the knowledge, creativity, and resilience of our native community.

Please join us in taking this opportunity to thank and honor the original caretakers of this land.
